Alexandru Macedonski are o copilarie fericita pe domeniul Pometesti, Adancata din judetul Dolj. Primele lectii le ia in familie, apoi la Craiova. Alexandru Macedonski pornea in prima sa calatorie in strainatate.

Nascut la 22 Aprilie 1894 la Bucuresti ; decedat la 13 Mai 1957 la Bucuresti. Este botezat la Biserica Oborul Nou din Bucuresti. Copilaria si scoala primara si-o petrece in Cartierul Obor, la scoala fiind coleg cu marea actrita Aura Buzescu. Devine bursier la Liceul Sf. Este absolvent al Liceului Gheorghe Lazar. Urmeaza cursurile Facultatii de Filosofie si Litere.
